Our Mission

Founded in 2015, Legal Spark is a firm of solicitors and notaries, working with an ethical ethos across the central belt of Scotland. We stand for transparency, honesty, exceptional customer service, and putting our clients at the heart of everything we do.

We are able to offer Legal Aid to eligible individuals, and we can assist with:

  • Employment
  • Family
  • Wills and Power of Attorney
  • Resolving disputes

For small and medium sized businesses, we are pleased to be able to help with:

  • Employment
  • Contracts
  • Property
  • Dispute resolution
  • Corporate governance

Our ethical ethos makes Legal Spark the ideal legal partner for social enterprises, startups and charities. Legal Spark represents individuals simply needing advice through to executing the entire legal function of small companies and organisations. And our ethical approach is working - between 2016 and 2017, our income increased 63%. We believe this is because we offer a personalised, client-focused approach to the cases we take on.

We have undertaken numerous cases that have a direct social impact, including support the Humanist Society of Scotland’s legal challenge to end compulsory religious observance in schools.

We have been awarded the Scottish Institute for Enterprise (SIE) Young Innovators Award 2015, The Melting Pot Social Innovation Incubation Award 2015 and we are honoured to be official Legal Business Partner of Pride Edinburgh.

Legal Spark is accredited by the Faulty of Advocates to offer free legal advice and we are regulated by the Law Society of Scotland (56309). For more information or to book a consultation, please email contact@legalspark.co.uk or telephone 0141 280 0330.
